Key Management Group was started on July 11, 2005 by two long-time friends and work associates, Stephen Bratta and Nicholas Tucker.

Prior to forming Key Management Group, Steve and Nick worked in the practice of the most successful advisor at one of the nations largest independent broker dealers. In their roles, they developed systems and processes that enabled their practice to provide a world-class client experience to several hundred high-net worth clients. In addition to organic growth, they created systems to effectively integrate acquisitions into their practice.

Steve and Nick realized that the key to providing exceptional service was to identify the critical elements that made a client relationship successful. After identifying these essential elements, they broke them down into small, manageable, and trackable activities that could be handled by the advisor’s team members. Keeping track of each element ensured that no task was forgotten and all promises made to clients were fulfilled. They built their systems to be repeatable and scalable so that they could quickly adapt to changes as each practice grew.

After years of implementing these systems, they formed Key Management Group to teach other financial advisors how to maximize their productivity and exceed their client’s expectations by using these proven systems and tools.

In 2010, Steve and Nick partnered with Anthony Whitbeck, CFP, CLU who had been a nationally recognized advisor-coach to bring another dimension of service to their offering. For decades, Tony had coached many top financial advisors on all aspects of their business including: productivity, staffing, marketing, and personal and professional development. He helped advisors think of their practice as valuable business in which they were the CEO. In addition to being an advisor-coach, Tony was a tenured registered principal, allowing him to help advisors implement strategies to keep their practices compliant with the ever-changing industry regulations.

Together, Steve, Nick, and Tony have combined their expertise to offer comprehensive business solutions to meet all the needs of a financial advisor. Today, Key Management Group’s team consists of over 25 employees who specialize in four different core services including: Executive Coaching, Practice Management, Outsourcing, and Acquisition & Legacy Planning.

Through the years, Key Management Group has and will continue to invest in technology and human capital to expand its services.
